Characteristics of PP cotton filter element

1. The filtering precision of this filter element is very high. After relatively strict production technology, the quality of the product is very stable and reliable. The filtering capacity is also larger than that of other filter elements, and the pressure loss is small.

  2. The filter element has a long service life and its cost is not very high. Its main structural feature is that it is completely tight inside and loose outside, which ensures the amount of pollution and prolongs the service life.

  3. Absolute corrosion resistance, wide application range. Because the filter element is only composed of one material, it is absolutely stable in nature and has strong corrosivity.

Application field of PP cotton filter element

PP cotton filter element has a wide range of applications. It can be used for liquid filtration and compressed gas filtration in purified water, solvent, pharmaceutical industry, electronic industry, petrochemical industry, food and beverage industry.

For example, in the pharmaceutical industry, the pre filtration of some injections, liquid medicine and injection bottle washing water, large infusion and the pre filtration of various antibiotics and traditional Chinese medicine injections. The food industry has the filtration of alcohol, beverage and drinking water. Petroleum and chemical industry, filtration of various organic solvents, acids and alkalies, and oilfield water injection filtration. Quality identification of PP cotton filter element

The quality of PP cotton filter element is determined by the tightness of its fiber. The internal fiber of high-quality PP cotton filter element is compact and uniform. This difference can't be seen with the naked eye at the time of purchase. How can we tell?

First: look at the weight. We can weigh the weight by hand. If the weight is heavy, the fiber density of the filter element is large. The better the quality.

Second: look at compressibility. Generally, the greater the fiber density of the filter element. The better the compression performance, the better the quality of PP cotton filter element. We can judge by the feel. The stronger the feel, the better the compression performance.

Second: look at the material. When selecting the filter element, be sure to pay attention to the material of the filter element. The color of the regular filter element filter paper is uniform and the paper surface is flat. The color of the inferior filter paper is not uniform and the texture is poor.  

Fourth: look at the glue. The regular filter element has good colloid and good elasticity, while the inferior filter element has soft rubber and poor texture.

※   Pure water: purified water filtered by reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration and then filtered by PP cotton filter element. The service time of this water filter element is relatively long, because the water itself is very clean, and the cycle of PP cotton filter element is generally 6 months.

※   Tap water: the groundwater or river water treated by the water company is called tap water, which is generally used for pure water production. At present, pure water is used in the domestic production industry. The common RO pure water machine is mainly reverse osmosis. After the sand carbon filter and before the reverse osmosis water inlet, the filter is used with ppcotton core, with a general accuracy of 10 microns, to filter the fine turbid particles that cannot be filtered by the sand carbon filter. According to the effect of sand carbon filter and the difference of water sources from all over the country, The service life of PP cotton filter element is 15 days - 2 months.

※   Ultra pure water: ultra pure water is the end filtration after reverse osmosis, ultra pure water resin or EDI. Its water quality has reached absolute purity, so its service life is longer. The service life of PP cotton filter element is replaced once in June to December.

※   Drinking water: small pure water machine, used in front of the pure water machine, with a service life of 1-2 months.

※   Reuse water: also known as reclaimed water reuse, it is the industrial sewage that is treated according to the national discharge standard and then further treated to achieve recycling. The front section of water is filtered with PP cotton filter element, which has relatively large turbidity particles, so the service life will be shortened. The service cycle of PP cotton filter element is 7-30 days.
